I've Been at This Table for a While.

I'm Nia — a Bahamian entrepreneur, marketing strategist, and naturopathic doctor with an instinct for the story behind the food.

In 2013 I founded Bahamas Food Adventures, one of Nassau's first culinary tour companies. We put visitors on a party bus, moved them through the city, and fed them the real Bahamas — conch fritters, fish fry culture, the kind of meal you don't find on a resort menu. Before the industry had language for culinary tourism, we were doing it.

After closing that chapter I spent several years in the United States in corporate communications and executive wellness consulting. It made me a sharper strategist. But Nassau kept pulling me back.

Now I've come home to build something with deeper roots. Pirate Point Marketing exists because Bahamian hospitality deserves marketing that understands it from the inside — not just the outside looking in.
